At Hestia Mortgage, we understand how important privacy is to our customers. We respect and protect the privacy of our customers and the information they provide us.   • Registration, Applications, Tools, Forms: Our website provides you with a number of ways of exploring your options for a mortgage and to request additional information. Some of the tools we provide do not require you to disclose any information about you. Others may, including registration and applications, collect information from you.

    The information we collect may include your contact information including your email address and a password to gain access to your loan application information, financial profile, etc. Your contact information is used to provide you with information about our products and services, special offers and/or your loan status. We do not share your information with outside companies for their promotional use. If you do not want to receive email communications from us, you may unsubscribe from further communications.

    We do request and store the names, email and street addresses, telephone number, numbers, income and other financial information for customers. This information is transmitted to respective mortgage companies for the sole purpose of processing your request.

    For the sole purpose of processing your request, Hestia Mortgage may share the information you provide with lending institutions. All mortgage companies operate under federal and state laws regarding customer privacy.

    We may also supply information you provide, on a strictly confidential basis, to service providers, such as title companies, appraisers, credit reporting services, etc., who assist us in qualifying, processing, closing and servicing your loan.

  • Hestia Mortgage Website: Our website may also collect non-personal information about its visitors including number of visitors, pages visited, length of visit, etc. We may share this non-personal, aggregated data with other third parties for general marketing and demographic purposes.

  • Credit Report: By submitting a loan application or a request to be pre-qualified to us, you authorize us to share your credit report with our affiliates only to process your loan application.

  • Contests, Sweepstakes, and Surveys: From time to time, we may offer you the option to participate in contests, sweepstakes, or surveys. If you would like to participate, we may ask you for contact information, preferences or other information. This information may be used to conduct research, improve our offerings, or contact you regarding home financing or award prizes. (However, be aware that if you are using a 40-bit browser, your encryption level, while secure, is not the highest level available. United States and Canadian citizens can download free 128-bit browsers from Mozilla, Netscape or Microsoft)

We work to protect personally identifiable information stored on the site's servers from unauthorized access using industry standard computer security products, such as firewalls, as well as carefully developed security procedures and practices. All employees must review and sign a written statement of these practices which include limiting access to sensitive information to only those employees who require the information and enforcing strict password protocols for all employees. In addition, a username, member ID name and password are required for you to use, view or change application or interview information. We use both internal and external resources to review the adequacy of our security measures on a regular basis.
